Clyde, Owner

For more than 30 years, Clyde Peterson’s love of photography and people has taken him from inaugural balls and embassy events to Space Shuttle launches and archeological digs. He’s worked for Fortune 500 companies and six presidents, photographed international clients and celebrities, including Jodie Foster and Matthew McConaughey. His art hangs in the Museum of Modern Art (NYC) and National Gallery of Art (DC), and he’s won many awards for excellence.

Clyde’s roots grow deep in the DC area. He became staff photographer for the Bowie Blade in sixth grade, then earned two degrees at GMU. With three successful shows at the Fenwick Gallery of Art, he went on to the Corcoran School of Art and Design.

Doors began to open. Clients included Calvin Klein, L’Oreal, GE, IBM, the Smithsonian and White House. Some of the awards he’s most proud of are Best of Show at City Gallery (DC), and a one man show at the City Hall Gallery in Bowie. Clyde raised a family in Maryland and continues to serve power brokers and government leaders. National and international ties keep life interesting.

Of everything he’s done, Clyde most enjoys the energy and excitement of weddings.

“I want to leave every bride thrilled with her photos, knowing we care.”

Greg Photo

Greg

Greg was the first photographer to shoot a wedding at Fed Ex Field (home of the Redskins). He’s been privileged to have photographed many interesting people, including two Presidents, many members of Congress, Maryland leaders and prominent celebrities. (Tom Selleck was his favorite). He’s done hundreds of weddings, portraits and special events.

Greg loves taking pictures of people, something he believes he was destined to do. He got a camera when his kids were small and eventually made photography his career. Enrolling in the Maryland School of Art and Design, he studied under one of the Smithsonian’s leading photographers. It was the right choice.

After 30 years of professional photography, he is still fascinated, learning new things each time he picks up a camera.

“For me, photography is ability driven by passion.”

Leda

Leda Cruz was born in Honduras. She grew up with a strong work ethic, big dreams and the courage to pursue them. At twenty-one, she left everything and moved to America with just the clothes on her back. In Miami, she worked as a pet sitter while saving for a business of her own.

With her savings, Leda bought stylish clothes in New York City and sold them in Virginia, Maryland and Washington D.C., eventually opening a store in Honduras. Leda now owns three dry cleaning businesses and is studio manager for A Beautiful Wedding. She loves beautiful clothes, has a kind and welcoming personality and is an accomplished photographer. Somehow, she always manages to find plenty to keep herself busy.

“I like helping people make their special day beautiful.”
